As someone who takes up the figure of the flâneur, by Benjamin, I was walking through the city, as an ontological experience, accompanied by my camera and, when confronting me, with the homeless, the idea of ??praising them, of making them leave the shadow, to register all its dignity through the lens. But it was through painting that he was going to achieve that. I immediately created an association of ideas that involved advertising posters and the homeless. The support and the painted theme, two sides of the same coin, consumerism and poverty, together, to oppose each other. The "Home+" series appears, which Carlos Magno described as an “…explosion of portraits that challenge consciences”. We have in this work Socrates, symbol of humanism, the place where wealth comes from.
